In the last weeks I've been working on a new series. This time, i've preferred to use other media as support beside the usual canvas. "Spring" was the name I gave to this series, in which i use vector drawing as base for application of several layers, textures and objects result of an photographic collect on the field and in the web.

Nas ultimas semanas trabalhei numa nova serie de imagens. Desta vez dei preferencia a outro suporte para alem do tradicional papel ou tela que costumo usar. "Spring" é a denominação desta serie de trabalhos no qual usei desenho vectorial como base para a aplicação de novas camadas, texturas e objectos, fruto de uma recolha fotografica tanto no campo como na web.

Taking as their starting point the parallelism between spring as symbol of rebirth, and the image of death, the image of late spring is here used as symbol of the transience and frailty of things.

Tomando como ponto de partida o paralelismo entre a primavera como simbolo de renovação, e a imagem da morte, a imagem do final da primavera é aqui usado como simbolo da transição e fragilidade das coisas.

Coming by the way, this series also serves as ending point of this blog. Everything has an end, this blog is no exception, I've been delaying this, but the fact is that, it makes a long time that this space suffers from a terrible neglect.
Everything has its time, I started this blog in my student days and this space has come to accompany me since then. Now is time to go further and give a new step forward.

Aproveitando a ocasião, esta serie tambem serve como ponto final deste blog. Tudo tem um fim, e como tal, este blog não é excepção. Tenho vindo desde ha algum tempo a adiar, mas é notorio que este espaço ha muito que sofre de um terrivel abandono.

Tudo tem o seu tempo, começei este blog quando era estudante e este espaço tem-me vindo a acompanhar desde então. Agora é altura de seguir em frente e dar um novo passo.

The priest- continuation

In the last times, my life has become a kind of "chaotic". Finally I have finished my graduation, however, for the moment, I didn’t have got any job. So, in conclusion, I don’t have spent too much time with my artwork. For other way, I’ve started the first study for “the priest” but am not ended yet. I have taken some cool shots that maybe I will put here later (or maybe not).

I have some other news, but, for the moment I prefer do not talk about.

For all my friends (the good ones) that are finished her graduation, good luck for the future!

For the moment, I’m doing some quick sketches. Enjoy it!!

Priest it’s the name called to a specie of bug very common in the spring and summer. I remember at my childhood to see many of these bugs transposing the road, I really like these gentle and funny bugs!!

"ENVY"

New work coming soon.... "Envy"… is a very ugly thing!!!

Today I've started to do some sketches for a new work for the "emotions" series, this time it's about envy, I've already do some fast sketches on my Moleskine, however, I think that it's time to start the real work.

In this last times I've made some studies for the series "that thing that you see in your dreams" too, however, I didn’t like the results. It makes a few time that I want to complete this series, although, I’ve all the time in the world to do it, and I'm not very worried with this, but I really want to finish this serie as soon as possible.

“Serenity” odyssey

I think that a I never have shown right here, the step-by-step from a execution of a work of mine, so, in reality, though all process form every work, I habitually take some photos, from all scene, and from some details as well.
This work, “Serenity”, that the result I have already posted, one of the works exhibit on “Clicka”, have take me a few weeks of work, though all process, as usually I have take a few of shots, that I’m showing right now.
